The red wine Margheria Barolo DOCG, vintage 2014 from the winery Massolino Vigna Rionda has been rated in 2018 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 97 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Nebbiolo from the region Piedmont in Italy.
Clear ruby with a fine garnet brightness. Seductive nose with rich notes of rose petals and violets, plus ripe wild raspberries, some cardamom. Taut and firm tannins on the palate, plus fine raspberry fruit, juicy, then powerful on the finish. Still in its early youth, with a rich drive, patience will be rewarded.
