The red wine Barolo Riserva DOCG Vigna Rionda, vintage 2019 from the winery Massolino Vigna Rionda has been rated in 2025 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 98 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Nebbiolo from the region Piedmont in Italy.
Powerful, bright ruby-garnet colour. Very clear and inviting nose, full of dewy wild raspberries, fine notes of clove and some cranberry – earthy. Lots of juicy raspberry fruit characterises the attack and finish. Opens up to dense tannins, pithy, and shows a lot of depth. Salty and very long.
