The red wine Barolo DOCG Parafada, vintage 2017 from the winery Massolino Vigna Rionda has been rated in 2021 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 95 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Nebbiolo from the region Barolo in Italy.
Bright, intense ruby with a fine garnet sheen. Opens with a rich basket of dark fruits, blackberry, ripe plum, then also fine raspberry, liquorice in the background. Fine-meshed, dense tannin, builds up in many layers, interspersed with sweet texture, full-bodied drive on the finish, warm and round.
