Tasting Notes
Subtle wood - and a complex varietal aroma that hints at candied fruit, stewed pear, buttery tones, sesame and hazelnut. A hint of Ruländer - but very pure! On the palate it shows with the taut, sinewy style of the vintage, but highly concentrated, ripe acidity, clear extract sweetness, combines creaminess and substance with good length.
More about the tastingOn the nose, we find aromas of pear skin, yellow apples, pear and yoghurt. A light herbal note and quince are added on the palate. The wine has a full body, attractive acidity and a good to very good finish.
