The sparkling wine Nyetimber »Classic Cuvée« Brut NV from the winery Nyetimber has been rated in 2024 by Peter Moser, Gerhild Burkhard, Benjamin Herzog, Dominik Vombach, Ulrich Sautter, Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 91 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, Pinot Meunier
Bright, brilliant, pale golden yellow in colour. Fine yeasty notes at the start on the nose, accompanied by yellow stone fruit, cream toffee and some nutty hints. There's a lively freshness on the palate with a mineral character, matched by an invigorating fullness and subtle almond cream texture behind the very fine mousse. Focused, with citrus-emphasised length to the saline finish.
