The red wine Barolo Vigna Rionda DOCG, vintage 2012 from the winery Oddero Poderi e Cantine has been rated in 2018 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 94 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Nebbiolo from the region Piedmont in Italy.
Brilliant, brightening ruby garnet. Very expressive, inviting nose, rich aroma of ripe raspberries, with some cream, plus plums and rose petals, cloves in the background, classic. Grip and dense tannin in the attack and course, plus a fine sweet core, unfolds continuously, clear and dense, firm drive.
