The red wine Barolo Rocche Rivera DOCG, vintage 2015 from the winery Oddero Poderi e Cantine has been rated in 2019 by Othmar Kierm, Simon Staffler with 94 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Nebbiolo from the region Piedmont in Italy.
Brilliant, bright flint ruby red. Elegant nose of blood oranges, raspberries, lightly of cinnamon, then delicate notes of leather and anchovies, multilayered and complex. Shows creamy texture on the palate with a lot of tannin, gripping and long lasting, elegant and rustic at the same time, slightly salty finish, needs time.
