The red wine Barolo Riserva DOCG Vigna Rionda, vintage 2018 from the winery Oddero Poderi e Cantine has been rated in 2024 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 98 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Nebbiolo from the region Piedmont in Italy.
Clear ruby with a fine garnet shimmer. Opens with notes of tobacco, then lots of wild raspberry and strawberry, some black truffle in the background. Full-bodied and firm on the palate, displaying lots of dark berry fruit, especially blackberry, then full-bodied, earthy tannins, great depth on the long finish.
