Yellow green colour with delicate silver reflections. Powerful, multi-faceted bouquet of ripe yellow fruit, fine toasty aromas and smoky minerality. Full-bodied, elegant, fresh tropical fruit notes, salty, fine acidity, nutty touch and fine extract sweetness on the long finish, a complex food companion with clear further ageing potential.
More about the tastingPale yellow-green with silver reflections. Very fine bouquet of lime zest, white peach, delicate fresh pear, subtle, mineral and lemon, seems extremely youthful. On the palate finesse-rich structure, discreet oak touch, has fine extract sweetness, very long lasting, perfectly matured, light-footed style with great drinking pleasure, a class Chardonnay from grapes from Tasmania (87%) and the cool Adelaide Hills.
More about the tastingPale greenish yellow. Very restrained bouquet, delicate herbal spice, smoky minerality, with air a hint of jasmine, citrus zest, some peach, underlaid with a little cinnamon. Elegant texture, delicate aromas, some stone fruit, harmoniously integrated acidity structure, delicate honeydew melon, lemony nuances, slightly nutty on the finish, delicate cookie aftertaste, full of energy and finesse. Should definitely be decanted.
