The red wine Santa Cecilia Sicilia Noto DOC, vintage 2021 from the winery Planeta has been rated in 2024 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 93 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Nero d’Avola from the region Sicily in Italy.
Medium bright ruby red with a slightly brightening rim. Aromas of redcurrants, forest fruits and orange zest on the nose, accompanied by a hint of raspberry cordial and forest honey. Vibrant acidity on the palate harmoniously accompanied by fine tannins, lean and precise, ending with citrus aromas.
