Tasting from 21.04.2017: Peter Moser

Deep ruby in colour with purple reflections, and subtle brightening on the rim. On the nose, aromas are delicately animalistic, with dark berry fruit, tobacco nuances, a touch of smoked bacon and hints of iodine in the background. The juicy palate is underpinned with a fine vegetal savouriness, mineral and taut with firm, supporting tannins, this is a savoury food wine with a fruity finish and a very particular character. The only non-Californian in the sample.
