The red wine Barolo Riserva DOCG, vintage 2005 from the winery Rivetto dal 1902 has been rated in 2011 with 90 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Nebbiolo from the region Barolo in Italy.
Rich, sparkling ruby garnet. Quite restrained, some cranberry and plum, blossoms beautifully after aeration, lots of raspberry. Full-bodied, builds nicely, lots of powerful tannins with a rich core, develops smoothly, unfortunately breaks down a little at the back.
