Rich ruby in colour with purple shimmer. Smells of chocolate, then lots of cassis and blackberry - very full-bodied and dense. Shows a lot of sweet and vivid fruit on the palate, then displays fine-meshed tannins coated with a lot of sweet fruit. Plenty of drive and a long finish.
