The white wine Case Sugan Pinot Grigio Ramato Friuli Grave DOC, vintage 2021 from the winery San Simone has been rated in 2024 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 91 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Pinot Grigio from the region Friuli-Venezia Giulia in Italy.
Intense golden yellow with a slight hint of rust. Rich honey aroma on the nose, resin, bitter orange, candle wax, then also pickled peach, some iodine. Fine creaminess on the palate, sweet, with well-integrated tannins and beautiful juiciness, a year of bottle ageing has done it good.
