The prosecco Perlae Prosecco Rosé DOC Millesimato Brut, vintage 2020 from the winery San Simone has been rated in 2021 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 92 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Glera from the region Veneto in Italy.
Bright radiant salmon colour with copper reflections. The nose opens with nuances of ripe red currant and rich cherry, as well as hints of lime zest. In the mouth, the mousse is finely interwoven and there is delicate red berry fruit. It is balanced, with juicy acidity, liveliness and with a slight saltiness accompanying the fine fruit texture on the finish.
