The red wine Ventale Valpolicella Superiore DOC, vintage 2017 from the winery Cantina Santi has been rated in 2019 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 88 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Corvina, Rondinella from the region Veneto in Italy.
Intense, dark shining ruby red. Wood savoury nose, barrel, shows nuances of ripe plums, Amarena cherries, has something savoury-animal at the end. Marked by vivid tannin on the palate, a lot of wood in the foreground, compact body with tender fruit notes, drying on the finish.
