The red wine Amarone della Valpolicella Classico DOCG, vintage 2016 from the winery Scriani has been rated in 2020 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 93 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Corvina, Corvinone Veronese, Rondinella from the region Veneto in Italy.
Deep dark garnet. On the nose perfectly ripened plums, cherries, dried rose petal, on the finish again fresh nuances of violets and forest fruits, inviting. On the palate tightly woven, accompanied by discreet savouriness, vivid, ripe fruit, stretches beautifully over the tongue, gripping tannin on the finish.
