Intense ruby with purple reflections, and a slightly watery rim. Somewhat restrained aromas with some sweet fruit, blackberry confit, hints of camphor and dried St John's wort, cassis and nougat. Complex on the palate, juicy and fruity with red forest berry confit, balanced acidity and a long lingering finish with cassis and chocolate. A great food companion.
