Tasting Notes
Slightly "marsalato" on the nose, candied cherry, thyme, sage and macchia - the oxidative notes tend to recede with air contact. Silky and mild on the palate, delightfully delicate, and that with 15 percent alcohol by volume, mild acidity, quite noticeable alcohol, but not burnt. Very authentic - and in a refined way.
More about the tastingHerbs, some wood and slightly tertiary undertones. Fiery on the palate, crumbly tannins, a distinctly creamy mid-palate, full-bodied but not very clear and intense in the fruit, somewhat dull. Condition-related?
