The red wine Feudo di Mezzo – Il Quadro delle Rose Etna Rosso DOC, vintage 2014 from the winery Tenuta delle Terre Nere has been rated in 2016 by Othmar Kiem with 93 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Nerello Mascalese, Nerello Cappuccio from the region Sicily in Italy.
Rich, brilliant ruby. Opens with earthy notes, some truffle, then lots of blackberry, rich. Round and supple palate, opens with finely meshed tannins, sweet texture, firm drive on the finish.
