The red wine Biserno Toscana IGT, vintage 2010 from the winery Tenuta di Biserno has been rated in 2021 by Othmar Kiem und Simon Staffler with 95 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Cabernet Sauvignon from the region Tuscany in Italy.
Rich, bright ruby with a garnet shimmer. Opens with slightly savoury notes on the nose, then lots of dark berry fruit, rich blackberry and cassis, and some black truffle. Hints of tobacco show on the palate, which opens with grippy, hearty tannins and builds up in many layers, then unfolds with fine texture. Salty and very long.
