The red wine Poggio ai Grilli Chianti Superiore DOCG, vintage 2018 from the winery Tenuta San Jacopo has been rated in 2020 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 87 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Sangiovese from the region Tuscany in Italy.
Clear, medium dense ruby. Presents itself in the nose with notes of cherries and orange peels, savoury. On the palate unfortunately a lot of drying tannin, seems decidedly rough.
