The red wine Oreno, vintage 2001 from the winery Tenuta Sette Ponti has been rated in 2021 by Othmar Kiem with 92 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Sangiovese, Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon from the region Tuscany in Italy.
Bright, fine ruby-garnet colour. A little cloudy on the nose, opens with notes of blood orange and black cherry, fine savouriness in the background. Lots of grippy tannins on the palate, unfortunately a little brittle on the finish.
