The red wine Oreno IGT, vintage 2014 from the winery Tenuta Sette Ponti has been rated in 2017 by Othmar Kiem with 93 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon from the region Tuscany in Italy.
Deep dark, intense ruby with a purple hue. Very intense nose with rich notes of blackberries, blueberries and cassis, with cocoa and tobacco in the background. Shows a lot of fresh, dark berries on the palate, opens with finely meshed tannins, appears fresh and juicy, velvety on the finish.
