The red wine La Crena Barbera d'Asti DOCG, vintage 2021 from the winery Vietti has been rated in 2024 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 92 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Barbera from the region Piedmont in Italy.
Intense purple with ruby reflections and a brightening rim. Ripe fruit of blueberries and blackberries on the nose, some thyme with cinnamon and dark chocolate. Powerful and balanced on the palate, good acidity and harmonious tannins, ending with fruit and spice on the long finish.
