Tasting from 10.02.2017: Peter Moser und Ulrich Sautter

Dark ruby, deep core, purple reflections, delicate bright rim. Inviting aroma of dark berry fruit, hints of vanilla, cloves, nuances of violet, some nougat and candied orange zest. Substantial, pronounced cherry-cassis fruit, integrated silky tannins, and with a fine structure. It is a very elegant Almaviva with great flow and definite ageing potential.

More about the tasting

Dark ruby, deep colour core, delicate edge brightening. Fine touch of wood, pleasant herbal savouriness, ripe black berry fruit, some cassis and liquorice in the background, still rather restrained bouquet. Rich, elegant, silky texture, sweet heart cherry, supporting tannins that are still very vivid, shows good freshness, pronounced in fruit finish, has a promising future, some nougat in the aftertaste.
