Tasting Notes

Tasting from 01.01.2017: Peter Moser

Dark ruby garnet, deep color core, delicate edge brightening. Hints of cassis and nougat, black cherries, fine precious wood spice, candied orange zest, very attractive, young bouquet. Textured, stylistically rather cooler, ripe cherries, fine tannins, somewhat more meshed texture, nuances of licorice on the finish, subtle fruit sweetness dominates on the finish, an accessible wine, overall somewhat less complex than most of its predecessors. The vintage is very atypical, was very cool and late-ripening, yielding a very small harvest.
