The sekt »Perlage Reserve« Chardonnay Blanc de Blancs brut nature, vintage 2016 from the winery Wein & Sektgut Hirschmüller has been rated in 2024 by Ulrich Sautter with 93 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Chardonnay from the region Württemberg in Germany.
Needs some air, then fans out in a complex way behind ripe yeast spice: Notes of corn semolina, butter, shell limestone and sweet flowers. The mousse has taken on a fine creaminess under the lees, the ripe acidity is seamlessly integrated and finishes dry and savoury.
More about the tastingThe mousse remains strikingly long and well visible in the glass. On the nose there is a scent like burnt milk, ice cream and white flowers, also Greengage plums. On the palate it is very juicy and fresh, harmonious mousse without too much drive, not too fruity, elegant (degorged Nov. 2021).
