It is a wine made from the grape variety Spätburgunder from the region Pfalz (Palatinate) in Germany.
The nose still shows clear notes of barrique ageing, juniper berries, clove and fruit, cherry and redcurrant. Good balance on the palate, the wood tannins are still somewhat prominent, juice, spice and elegance. Needs time.
