The red wine Weinert Carrasacal Cabernet Sauvignon – Malbec Organic, vintage 2023 from the winery Weinert has been rated in 2025 by Peter Moser with 89 Falstaff points.
This has a deep dark ruby colour, with purple reflections, and a delicate watery rim. There are aromas of fresh red forest berry confit, ripe cherry, and a hint of orange zest. On the palate there is a subtle sweetness, and it is somewhat loosely knit, with strawberry confit at the core, an individualistic spiciness, some minerality, and nougat on the finish. It is already well developed.
