The white wine »Geheimrat J« Rheingau Riesling trocken, vintage 2004 from the winery Weingüter Wegeler – Gutshaus Rheingau has been rated in 2024 by Ulrich Sautter with 92 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Riesling from the region Rheingau in Germany.
Light golden, rose, pepper, wax and clearly floral on the nose. Very powerful on the palate, fine, silky phenolics, ripe acidity, viscous extract in the background, the acidity is really mild, the finish is somewhat alcoholic.
