The red wine »Saphir Grande Cuvée«, vintage 2020 from the winery Weingut Albrecht Schwegler has been rated in 2024 by Ulrich Sautter with 95 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Blauer Zweigelt, Merlot, Cabertin, Cabernet Franc, Lemberger from the region Württemberg in Germany.
On the nose: nougat chocolate, cranberry confit, wild strawberry, sweet cherry and an undertone of herbal savouriness. In the mouth, the wine has a mealy tannin drive, a round, texture, lots of juiciness and an aromatic, long and harmonious finish.
