The red wine »Reserve« Lemberger trocken, vintage 2021 from the winery Weingut Albrecht Schwegler has been rated in 2024 by Ulrich Sautter with 93 - 95 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Lemberger from the region Württemberg in Germany.
Well-drawn wood savouriness with dried herbs, smoke, forest floor, dark cherry, blackberry and some dried mint. Substantial with drive on the palate, tightly meshed extract and supporting, tight acidity. The good quantity of pronounced tannin gives structure, length and a promise of long maturation. All of a piece, stylishly staged depth.
