The red wine »Lemberger Reserve« Lemberger trocken, vintage 2021 from the winery Weingut Albrecht Schwegler has been rated in 2024 by Ulrich Sautter with 93+ Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Lemberger from the region Württemberg in Germany.
The first contact shows ripe black cherry fruit and some new wood, but with air contact more and more herbal savouriness comes to the fore. The palate is densely filled with ripe tannins, unusually homogeneous for the vintage, supported by ripe acidity, a juicy finish, clearly mineral and long.
