The red wine Comondor, vintage 1992 from the winery Weingut Anita und Hans Nittnaus has been rated in 2010 with 88 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Cabernet Sauvignon, Blaufränkisch from the region Lake Neusiedl in Austria.
Dark ruby garnet, delicate rim brightening, clear watery rim. Ripe cherries on the nose, tobacco nuances, rather closed bouquet, leafy nuances, a soft touch. Full-bodied, a little too much emphasis on tannin extraction, makes the tannins appear somewhat dry, lively acid structure, some nougat, but also dark chocolate, medium length, somewhat rustic overall, a typical child of its time, medicinal spice on the finish.
