The red wine Comondor, vintage 2002 from the winery Weingut Anita und Hans Nittnaus has been rated in 2010 with 94 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Zweigelt, Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon from the region Lake Neusiedl in Austria.
Dark ruby garnet in colour with a touch of rim brightening. Ripe plum fruit on the nose, underlaid with blackberry jam, a hint of liquorice and tobacco spiced, very reminiscent of Bordeaux. Juicy and elegant on the palate with vivid tannins that are well rounded and a fine acid structure. A delicately floral note and juicy cherry show on the finish, with a cocoa edge. It's very harmonious and well developed.
