Tasting Notes
Dark ruby red, with a purple hue. Reserved on the nose, subtle notes of dried plums, fine dried herbs, some nougat, opens up wonderfully with aeration. Full-bodied, dark berry confit, an elegant extract and sweetness, vivid, well-integrated tannins that give the wine plenty of length, a lively acidity, subtle nougat on the finish, red berry fruit in the aftertaste.
