The white wine »Malterdinger« trocken, vintage 2018 from the winery Weingut Bernhard Huber has been rated in 2020 by Ulrich Sautter with 93 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Chardonnay, Weißburgunder from the region Baden in Germany.
Smoky wood, discreet varietal aromas, slight buttery nuances, citrus-fruit and savoury notes. A chalky mineral character on the palate, pithy, with a hint of green tones, but without aggression, extract binds the acidity. Lots of drive, excellent length.
