The red wine »Postillon« Schliengen trocken, vintage 2020 from the winery Weingut Blankenhorn has been rated in 2024 by Ulrich Sautter with 92+ Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot from the region Baden in Germany.
Fine and dense on the nose: smoke, smoked ham, light and dark fruits of the forest, cassis, beets, roasted red bell pepper, vanilla and milk chocolate. Power and elegance in perfect balance on the palate, with fresh and juicy fruit, fine tannins and lively, well-integrated acidity. Long on the palate, with ageing potential.
