Tasting Notes
Day one: A hint of wood and yeast, also some tropical fruit, undertones of pineapple and passion fruit, bitter almond. Changes to floral notes in the glass. The palate starts smoothly, then unfolds a still tense but mature, really high-quality tannin, the acidity seems to merge seamlessly with the rich, round body, at the same time the wine is elegant and light in alcohol content. Day two: the nose is now quite buttery, with pineapple and chalky, "stony" undertones. The palate has become more refined in the direction of silkiness - a clear change from the first day, everything seems to have melted even more intimately into one. The finish is long and characterized by fine acidity. Day three: The butteriness recedes somewhat, but peppery, iodized terroir notes gain in intensity. The palate shows an excellent integration of substance, acidity and suppleness, appears balanced, dense and still fresh.
