Tasting Notes
Dense and savoury aroma, roasted hazelnut, warm smoke, earthy notes of beet to wild berry fruit, raspberry, sloe, rosehip. Lots of juice on the palate, subtle smoked bacon to the fresh fruit and savouriness, fine-grained phenolics, lively and well-integrated acidity, good length.
More about the tastingOn the nose: sweet almond, almond paste, bay leaf and raspberry. In the mouth, a very elegant juiciness, carried by ripe acidity and fine tannins. This is a fine, almost delicate burgunder that will also cut a fine figure slightly chilled in summer.
