The red wine Urbanus Pinot Noir trocken, vintage 2017 from the winery Weingut Clauß has been rated in 2020 by Ulrich Sautter with 92 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Pinot Noir from the region Baden in Germany.
Roasted and slightly chocolaty new wood, some red currant, rose hip. Soft and almost oily on the palate, with a rich tannin load, filled to the brim with dry but ripe tannin, juiciness in the background and a fine acid nerve. Powerfully vinified, with a good perspective.
