The white wine »Urbanus« Pinot Gris trocken, vintage 2023 from the winery Weingut Clauß has been rated in 2025 by Ulrich Sautter with 93 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Pinot Gris from the region Baden in Germany.
Roasted new wood on the nose, also berry notes, a hint of honey blossom, with herbal-spicy undertones on contact with air. The palate begins softly, then rolls out an almost creamy texture and fills it with fine phenolics, chalky-mineral components make the powerful body appear light-hearted.
