The white wine »Urbanus« Pinot Gris, vintage 2023 from the winery Weingut Clauß has been rated in 2025 by Ulrich Sautter with 92 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Grauburgunder from the region Baden in Germany.
Concentrated aroma, pears, apricots, apple, banana, peach, orange peel, subtle vanilla and meadow herbs. Powerful and juicy on the palate with a lively flow of acidity and creamy texture, silky phenolics, fresh clear fruit and fine savouriness, good extract and good ageing potential.
