The orange wine »Orange« Silvaner trocken, vintage 2020 from the winery Weingut Deppisch has been rated in 2024 by Ulrich Sautter with 93+ Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Silvaner from the region Franconia in Germany.
Cloudy with a well-muted straw yellow colour. An aroma of orange confit, black pepper and yeast emanates from the glass, with savoury notes intensifying on contact with the air, almost medicinal, tincture of iodine. A fine phenolics impression builds up in the mouth, which remains completely integrated in the supple body. Great minerality.
