The white wine »Einzelpfahl« Niederhausen Hermannshöhle Riesling Auslese, vintage 2019 from the winery Weingut Dönnhoff has been rated in 2020 by Ulrich Sautter with 98 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Riesling from the region Nahe in Germany.
Highly complex aromatics of sultana, candied lemon, candied ginger, ultra-fine botrytis, mineral rock notes, dried fig and date. Sweet and viscous on the palate, very well balanced with a bracing acidity and tactile minerality. Great length, concentrated, but all about finesse on the finish.
