Tasting Notes
A light cognac colour. Still rather closed on the nose, raisin concentrate, delicate terroir notes. A wonderful fruit on the palate, despite an increasing rancio, overwhelmingly rich and complex, tropical fruits, but also an intense spiciness, oily consistency, nectar, essence, extremely long finish. (MS).
More about the tastingMedium amber, broad rim brightening. Tangerine, dried plums, figs and raspberry pulp on the nose, intense botrytis spice. Pleasant elegance on the palate, very close to a Tokaj Aszù essence in terms of substance, fine mocha notes in the aftertaste, currants, delicate tarry nuances, a texture like liquid chocolate, creamy fruit, wonderful, baroque style, very typical of the great vintage.
