The white wine Eichenstein Weiß IGT, vintage 2013 from the winery Weingut Eichenstein has been rated in 2017 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 92 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Chardonnay, Riesling, Weißburgunder from the region Alto Adige in Italy.
Sparkling, rich straw yellow. Opens with fine spicy notes, some cinnamon, then lots of banana and baked apple, some mirabelle plums, shows beautiful play. Exciting on the palate, lots of juicy, fresh fruit, again mirabelle plums, some apple, juicy acidity, long finish, fine salty notes, racy.
