The red wine Heideboden, vintage 2017 from the winery Weingut Erich Sattler has been rated in 2019 by Peter Moser with 90 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Zweigelt, St. Laurent, Syrah, Cabernet Sauvignon from the region Lake Neusiedl in Austria.
Deep, dark ruby, purple reflections, subtle brightening on the rim. Aromas of dark fruits of the forest confit, a touch of wood savouriness, hints of liquorice and white chocolate. Medium-bodied and juicy, with a fine, savoury tannin structure, notes of black cherry and mineral nuances on the finish. Already approachable.
