The red wine Heideboden, vintage 2021 from the winery Weingut Erich Sattler has been rated in 2024 by Peter Moser with 90 - 92 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Zweigelt, St. Laurent, Syrah, Cabernet Sauvignon from the region Lake Neusiedl in Austria.
Dark ruby garnet colour with purple reflections, subtle ochre brightening on the rim. Ripe cherries, nuances of plums, orange zest, some vanilla and nougat. Good complexity, red cherries, ripe tannins, mineral, lingers long, chocolaty touch in the aftertaste, a savoury food wine.
